Overview
URP-based post-processing sharpening solution
Enhances image clarity after sharpening
Improves overall visual quality
Features
Sharpen the entire game view (applied to the UI camera).
Sharpen only the game scene (applied to the 3D camera).
Usage
Drag Sharpen from the Defaults folder into the scene.
Set the target camera for Sharpen. If Target Camera is not specified, sharpening is applied to the Main Camera by default.
SharpenManager Parameters
Target Camera — The target camera, which can be a scene camera or a UI camera.
Sharpen Strength — Controls the sharpening intensity.
Dark Edge Intensity — Controls the depth of dark edges.
Bright Edge Intensity — Controls the brightness of light edges.
Recommendations
Anti-aliasing combined with sharpening provides the best results.
Adjust sharpening strength according to DPI scaling.
On PC, tuning based on the Editor preview is sufficient.
Mobile platforms typically have higher average DPI; increasing sharpening strength may be necessary to achieve a noticeable effect.
Performance Notes
Suitable for mid-to-high-end mobile devices.
Due to the relatively high cost of post-processing, enabling this effect on low-end devices is not recommended.
